Chris joined Cheeley Law Group in April 2018 as a Senior Associate. Chris previously worked for a large international law firm with a practice focused on the representation of insurers in connection with professional liability claims made against architects, engineers, and other design professionals. He has extensive experience with premises liability, construction defect, and personal injury litigation. Chris also serves as a Major in the Georgia Army National Guard and currently is the Command Judge Advocate for the 78th Troop Command headquartered in Ellenwood, Georgia.
Chris is a Georgia native and a graduate of North Georgia College & State University where he earned a B.A. in English in 2004 and a Master of Public Administration in 2007. Following graduation from North Georgia, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law and graduated in 2010. He is a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association, the National Guard Association of Georgia, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Chris lives in Alpharetta with his wife, Shannon, and their daughter. He is an avid Braves fan and enjoys fishing.
